About the Role:
The General Manager is critical for driving operational excellence, commercial
growth, and providing company-wide leadership. You will oversee multi-site
manufacturing and servicing hubs across NZ, Australia and Canada—including our newly expanded Rotorua facility and post-acquisition Canadian operations.
Reporting on performance, quality control, and budget management, you will ensure efficient deployment of investments, be proactive in the development of the commercial strategy, cultivate high‑performance teams, deepen customer
partnerships, and shape the future of our specialist industrial cutting tools business.
About You:
You will have a close relationship with the Board as well as staff, and proactively set the pace. You will take the lead in the development of strategy and commercial planning in a close relationship with the Board in these processes. You will fully embrace our values and bring your drive for success, integrity, positivity, and a desire to encourage and build others up in everything you do. You will demonstrate commercial and customer acumen, attention to detail across contracts, along with a strong motivation to bring about positive growth and staff development.
