About the Company:
This is a unique opportunity to join a leading New Zealand business operating at scale.
With a workforce of over 300 and a strong reputation for quality and innovation, this company delivers full-service capabilities—from manufacturing through to nationwide installation.
Owned by a respected global brand, the organisation has recently acquired new branches and continues to grow. Culture is a key focus here: the leadership team is deeply committed to employee development, internal promotions, and building a workplace where everyone can thrive.
You'll be joining a people-first business with real momentum and a clear plan for the future—including apprenticeships, succession planning, and alternative career pathways to meet the needs of a diverse, aging workforce.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a vibrant, hands-on People & Culture Business Partner who brings a unique mix of strategic thinking and friendly, boots-on-the-ground energy. The ideal candidate is a self-starter—creative, confident, and excited about making a genuine impact.
This is a varied and influential role where you’ll partner with leaders to embed a positive culture, drive recruitment, enable performance, and support long-term talent development. From employee relations to engagement, you’ll have your hands in everything that shapes the people experience. If you enjoy optimising systems as well, you’ll love the opportunity to make it better.
About You:
You're warm, upbeat, and not too corporate—someone who brings a human touch to People & Culture. You love helping people grow and thrive, and you're not afraid to challenge the status quo to make things better.
You have a strong foundation in People & Culture and a solid understanding of New Zealand employment law. You’re confident managing recruitment processes and supporting leaders across a wide range of people matters, from performance and engagement to culture and capability, to talent management.
You’re someone who brings initiative, creative energy, and a solution-focused mindset to your work. You're comfortable working independently, but you thrive in a team environment and enjoy being a trusted advisor across the business.
You’ve worked with HRIS platforms (ideally Workday) and take pride in optimising systems to improve efficiency and user experience. You're a natural communicator with strong coaching and relationship-building skills, and you stay composed and adaptable in a fast-moving, change-oriented environment.
