Customer Support & Ticketing Assistant

About the Company

This organisation is a leader in the arts and cultural sector, known for delivering world-class musical experiences that delight audiences throughout Aotearoa. Rooted in strong values of creativity, innovation, and connection to place, they are committed to excellence on and off the stage. Their passionate team works together to ensure that every event is a memorable one – whether you’re in the concert hall or behind the scenes.

About the Role

This is a varied and hands-on role that supports both the ticketing and marketing teams. As the Customer Support and Ticketing Assistant, you'll play an important part in customer service, ticketing administration and managing the customer database. You’ll assist with ticket sales and enquiries, maintain accurate customer data in the CRM, coordinate services such as subscriber transport, and provide front-of-house assistance when needed.

No two days will be the same – one moment you could be helping a customer book their tickets, and the next you might be assisting with a social media post or responding to an inbox enquiry.
This role is a Wellington-based temporary contract working Tuesday to Friday (32 hours per week).

About You

You’re all about providing an exceptional customer experience with great organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in customer service, contact centre or sales coordination. Customer service experience in the events industry is desired!
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence dealing with the public, both in person and over the phone
  • Good computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office – experience with ticketing or CRM systems is ideal
  • The ability to manage your time and juggle priorities effectively
  • A calm and positive attitude, even when things get busy
  • A genuine interest in music, the arts, or live events
