Build. Automate. Modernise.
About the Opportunity
We're looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to play a key role in modernising and evolving a large-scale Azure platform supporting a business-critical SaaS environment.
This is more than keeping the lights on. You'll help shape the future platform by driving automation, improving reliability and observability, and influencing the move towards cloud native engineering.
If you're passionate about Platform Engineering and enjoy solving complex infrastructure challenges, this is an opportunity to make a genuine impact.
What you'll be Doing
- Design, build and support scalable Azure infrastructure.
- Drive Infrastructure as Code and automation across the platform.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Enhance platform reliability, performance and security.
- Improve monitoring, logging and observability.
- Support the transition towards containerised and cloud-native environments.
- Lead incident response and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with development teams to improve platform capability and developer experience.
What you'll Bring
We're interested in engineers with experience across most of the following:
- Azure Cloud
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep or ARM)
- PowerShell scripting and automation
- Azure DevOps and CI/CD
- Windows Server and Linux
- Docker or container technologies
- Monitoring and observability tools
- Networking and infrastructure security
Experience with Kubernetes, .NET or financial services is a bonus, but not essential.
Why join?
This is an opportunity to join a business investing in modern engineering practices, where you'll have genuine ownership and the ability to influence technical direction.
Whether you're already operating as a Senior Platform Engineer or you're a strong Platform Engineer ready to step up, you'll be supported to make a real impact while working alongside a collaborative, high performing engineering team.
If you're looking for your next challenge where you can build, automate and modernise rather than simply maintain, we'd love to hear from you.
