About the Role:

As a Procurement Category Manager, you will manage end-to-end procurement and merchandise processes whilst developing and executing category strategies. You will develop superior supplier relationships and develop and enhance exceptional internal and external relationships with stakeholders.

 

 

About You:


You will be a passionate, driven professional who strives for outstanding levels of performance. Your relationships building skills at all levels will be what sets you apart from the norm.

 

  • Proven experience in end-to-end strategy writing from research to action planning
  • Direct procurement expertise ideally in a retail or trade environment
  • Experience in strategic sourcing within a large and complex organisation
  • Involvement in developing promotional campaigns in retail environments and on a national scope
  • Highly effective influencing and negotiation skills
  • A demonstrated capability for decision making, sound judgment and assertiveness
  • Proven ability to manage workload
  • Strong analytical skills
