About the Role:  

As a Cyber Security Architect, you will play a crucial role in enhancing their security posture and fostering a culture of cybersecurity awareness across the organization.
 
Responsibilities:
•    Implementing and maintaining monitoring tools to detect and prevent malicious activities.
•    Developing and enforcing ICT security policies and procedures.
•    Collaborating with SOC partners to optimize Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions.
•    Leading and resolving security incidents and managing the security and privacy risk register.
•    Conducting vulnerability assessments, security design reviews, and security risk assessments.
 

About You: 

You will have the opportunity to contribute to wider ecosystem security efforts by working with external partners, cloud infrastructure providers, software applications, and external security organizations.
 
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
•    5+ years of relevant cybersecurity and information security experience in a medium to large-size organization.
•    Hands-on experience in Security Operations (SecOps) and managing security incidents.
•    Practical knowledge in areas such as security architecture, risk management, governance, security strategy, security incident management, and vulnerability management.
•    Strong IT skills and knowledge, including Cloud Infrastructure, software applications, and networking.
•    Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, endpoint detection, penetration testing, MDM, antivirus, firewalls, DDOS protection, etc.
•    Excellent communication and written skills, with the ability to articulate and passionately discuss security topics with individuals at all levels of the organization.
 
Preferred not required:
Ideally, candidates would also have information security qualifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM), experience with compliance frameworks (such as SOC2, NZISM, ISO27001, NIST), and expertise in developing and implementing security policies, procedures, training, and controls.
