About the Role:

As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, reporting to the Financial Controller. Your primary focus will be on ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with tax regulations, managing the consolidation of accounts, overseeing lease accounting, facilitating payment approvals, and effectively managing the audit process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards.
  • Manage tax planning and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Oversee the consolidation of accounts for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Implement and maintain lease accounting standards in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage payment approval processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors to ensure smooth and efficient completion.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making by senior management.
  • Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
 
About You:

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical accounting role, with progressive responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience with consolidation of accounts and lease accounting preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
