People Operations Manager - National

About the Role:

Reporting to the GM People, this national role plays an integral part in both the build phase and integration of operational HR initiatives.

Working closely with the Partnering Team, you own it - be it Rem, Talent, Engagement, Systems & processes; or Performance strategies – you will analyse, design, and execute. You will provide expert advice and strategise business-wide, creating sustainable future-focused practices.

Although mature as an organisation, the people piece is still greenfield. You will therefore have significant impact through continuous improvement and capability uplift, all leading to the goal of “Employer of Choice”!

About You:

Firstly – nothing fazes you!! Be it grey, ambiguous, changing, or disruptive, you thrive on making it better, and influencing others along the way!

Some of the key stuff we’d love you to have…

  • 5+ years’ experience working at a senior level in the Talent and People Operations space, ideally in a growth business.
  • Experience developing and leading long term people strategies and frameworks.
  • Program development for the likes of rem, attraction & retention, international talent...etc.
  • A sound knowledge of Recruitment software and systems.
  • A solid working knowledge of NZ Employment Law.
  • Advanced leadership coaching - evidencing how you shift mindsets!
  • Analysis and reporting – people metrics, data, insights.

You know what good looks like, you can talk about results with conviction, and you have an innate ability to balance business needs with the PX.
