This NZX listed group of companies operates within New Zealand with a clear intention to expand to overseas markets. The service and product offering are focused on wellbeing. The Group is in growth mode including a strategy of targeted acquisitions which has resulted in a very active workload so it’s now time to appoint a CFO to take the financial responsibilities back from the COO allowing him to focus on operations and broader business improvement projects.



About the Role:


As CFO you will initially report to the COO until you get up to speed then the reporting line will change to CEO. Regardless, you will be an integral part of the Executive team from day one. More specifically you will own the full finance function and be the commercial sounding board for the CEO and Executive Leadership Team. Your technical expertise and guidance will be essential in supporting your peers as well as providing accurate and timely financial information to the business, the Board, shareholders, and the financial markets. Equally important will be your recommendations and input into commercial and strategic decisions that will guide the business. Being an innovative and fast paced environment, this role will evolve and develop quickly.



About You:


You will be a professionally qualified Accountant, ideally with corporate audit experience, and a proven leader. Previous NZX experience is not necessary and this maybe your first “Head of” role. Nevertheless, you will bring your entrepreneurial spirit and commercial nous to a business with big plans ahead.
