Ideal Electrical Appoint New CFO

Ideal Electrical, one of New Zealand's leading electrical wholesale distributors, has appointed Elize van Greunen-Rooke as its new Chief Financial Officer. With a strong national presence and a well-established network serving electricians, contractors, and businesses across the country, Ideal Electrical is a cornerstone of New Zealand's electrical supply industry.

Elize is a Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years' experience spanning Big 4 advisory and senior corporate finance. She brings deep expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and board engagement, with a proven track record of building high-performing teams across complex organisations. Most recently serving as Head of Finance & Supply Chain at Postie+, she has also held senior financial leadership roles at Freshmax and Hallenstein Glasson Holdings, and spent close to a decade as a Senior Manager at Deloitte New Zealand.

Her appointment comes at a significant moment for Ideal Electrical as the business navigates a period of meaningful change and invests in the leadership capability to support its next phase.
