Tip number one is to be reliable. There's nothing more important than being punctual, showing up where and when you say you're going to show up.
Tip number two is have open communication, and this is with both the business that you're working at and also with us. If you're having any issues or concerns, or if you find yourself in a tricky situation, feel free to talk to us. Whether you want us to action it or just be a sounding board, remember we are here for you and we're keen to help.
Tip number three is to be professional. Now you are becoming a part of the Tribe temp team, so you're representing us and representing yourself. It's really important to put your best foot forward, because I've been in the temp game for so many years and I've seen many temps go permanent because they've been able to really prove themselves.
Tip number four is to be adaptable. With the world of temping you never know what sort of roles are going to come in, where they're going to be based, or what industry it's going to be in. Especially with the way things have been in recent times where our clients have had to pivot. Sometimes we do have roles where you need to work from home, so again you need to be adaptable and work with different technology and different working arrangements.
