Our client is a leading importer and distributor based in South Auckland and they are looking for a Finance Business Partner to look after one of their biggest divisions.
About the Role:
Reporting to an experienced CFO, you will be tasked with providing financial and commercial decision support to the ELT. Your remit will include collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to improve financial performance and ensure compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide financial and commercial decision support to the executive team.
- Conduct analysis on product pricing, costing, and market share.
- Support sales team with financial target monitoring and budget analysis.
- Lead business improvement projects and deliver value across the organization.
- Prepare accurate annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to the board and stakeholders.
- Oversee accuracy of financial information and balance sheet accounts.
- Manage and maintain statutory financial reporting and audit processes.
About You:
- Qualified CA or equivalent with strong commercial background in a large complex organisation.
- A minimum of 5 years of accounting and business partnering experience.
- Advanced Excel skills (experience with Microsoft Power BI Reporting desirable)
- Familiarity with a large ERP system.
- Strong commercial analysis, financial modelling, and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and prioritise tasks.
- Resilient under pressure, with attention to detail and a high-performance mindset.
