About the Role:

As they continue to grow, they are seeking a talented Finance Manager to join their team in this newly created role to drive the financial strategy forward.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, manage budgets, and collaborate closely with various stakeholders to support decision-making processes.
You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the finance function, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, and contributing to the overall success of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Oversee financial operations, including budget preparation, reporting, and short-term forecasting.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve financial performance.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team in day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial management with organisational goals.
  • Manage external financial obligations and requirements.

About You:

We are looking for a highly intelligent and ambitious Finance Manager who is looking for an opportunity to work within an evolving and growing environment. You will ideally have the following:
 
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • CA (or equivalent) Qualified.
  • Experience in small-medium businesses preferred.
  • Proficiency in Xero or other ERP accounting software.
  • Strong analytical and excellent communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Enthusiastic and resilient individual with commercial acumen.
