About the role:

Based in Wellington and a pivotal part of the senior leadership team, the Head of Operations is responsible for effectively leading all aspects of the manufacturing operations within the manufacturing facility, developing collaborative partnerships with both colleagues and external suppliers. Primary accountabilities include Production, Quality, Food Safety, Health and Safety. With a focus on creating strategies to improve productivity and efficiency overall you will also be responsible for role-modelling and creating a positive team culture

About You:

You’ll be an experienced operations professional and probably have a relevant Tertiary Qualification (e.g., Engineering, Commerce, Technical Field). You will bring many years relevant, practical manufacturing leadership experience (experience in FMCG would be desirable) at a senior level. With a strong aptitude for troubleshooting/problem solving, you’ll have a comprehensive LEAN and continuous improvement background and mindset. You’ll have a highly effective and professional communication skills to all levels in the business with the ability to tailor the message to the target audience, is positive, engaging, and approachable.
