About the Opportunity
  • CDB Group is an entrepreneurial, innovative business distributing consumer electrical products across NZ and Australia.
  • This Assistant Product Manager role supports the consumer electronics portfolio including GoPro, Smart Calendar, and MyFirst (kids tech).
  • You’ll report to the Business Manager and together you’ll run the day-to-day product and commercial engine for the division, so it’s a role with real variety and visibility.
  • The mix is sales support, coordination, and delivery: stock forecasting, product documentation, managing samples/spares, supporting customer and consumer queries, and helping execute programs with retail partners.
  • Full-time, office-based in Rosedale, with the business moving into a new purpose-built Whenuapai facility in early 2027.

What You’ll Bring
  •  Around 3+ years’ experience in a commercial role such as sales support, junior account management, category/product support, or retail/supplier-side coordination.
  • Confidence communicating with stakeholders and supporting meetings, submissions, and program execution.
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with commercial metrics like sales, margin, pricing, and stock.
  • High attention to detail, especially across product documentation, packaging/artwork, and process.
  • A teachable, proactive style and a genuine appetite to learn and grow your career.

About the Opportunity  An established, global solutions-led business is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive new customer acquisition and support continued growth in the New Zealand market. This is a true end-to-end role where you’ll generate leads, run discovery, present tailored solutions, negotiate, and close, building a healthy pipeline and consistently converting opportunities.
