Operations Manager
About the Opportunity Join a stable and well-established organisation in a hands-on Operations Manager role, taking ownership of day-to-day operations across a large-scale, high-volume environment. Lead a team of supervisors and operational staff, with responsibility for performance, service delivery, people management and daily operational requirements. Oversee fleet availability and allocation, working closely with internal maintenance and support teams to ensure resources are available and operational requirements are met. Monitor operational KPIs and performance data, identifying trends, implementing improvements and ensuring service, safety and compliance targets are consistently achieved. Manage real-time operational challenges, from staffing and scheduling through to incidents, customer queries and unexpected changes, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and effectively. What You’ll Bring Proven experience in operations, logistics, fleet management or another high-volume operational environment, with experience leading people and managing day-to-day service delivery. Strong leadership skills, with the confidence to manage performance, make decisions and take control in a fast-paced environment. A highly organised and process-driven approach, with the ability to plan, prioritise competing demands and keep operations running smoothly. Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with confidence interpreting KPIs, identifying trends and using data to drive improved operational outcomes. Resilience and composure under pressure, combined with a hands-on approach and the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
