About the Opportunity 
Keith Andrews is New Zealand’s largest commercial vehicle dealer, representing the global Daimler and Archion truck brands, including Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and FUSO, along with Mercedes-Benz Vans and FUSO buses.

The role is based in Wiri (with hybrid flexibility once in the role but will initially be 5 days a week). 
Keith Andrews is looking for a Finance Analyst, a newly created role reporting to the FP&A Manager.  This is a great opportunity to turn financial and operational data into clear insight that helps the business make better commercial calls, across branches, business units and support functions.
What you'll be doing
This role will have you supporting in the:
  • Preparation of monthly management reports and dashboards
  • Annual budget and quarterly forecasts
  • Provision of information for Board and ELT reporting packs
  • Commentary  and analysis to explain the story behind the results.
You’ll also help build models for pricing, profitability and investment decisions, support business cases and capex requests, and analyse branch, product and customer profitability to find ways to lift margins and efficiency. If you enjoy process improvement, you'll have genuine scope to automate reporting and cut down the manual work.
You'll work closely across the departments, with regular visibility to the CFO, CEO and leadership team.
What You’ll Bring 
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or similar, with CA or CPA (or working towards) preferred
  • Experience supporting FP&A activities, commercial finance or management accounting
  • Advanced Excel and strong financial modelling skills.
  • A sharp eye for detail and the ability to explain numbers clearly to non-finance people
This may also suit someone coming out of the Big 4 who has extensive audit experience.
