Infrastructure Architect – Identity & Cloud Platform Contract | 1 November 2026 – 31 July 2027 | $140–$150/hr
This one needs a very particular blend.
We’re looking for a senior Infrastructure Architect with strong Identity and Access Management capability, particularly within a Microsoft Entra environment, who can also operate across the broader cloud platform architecture.
Identity is a major initial focus. The programme is taking an Entra-first approach to IDAM, covering workforce and customer/learner identity domains, lifecycle management, authentication, authorisation, governance and access controls. The role also has a broader remit across Azure/AWS cloud infrastructure, landing zones and Infrastructure as Code.
You’ll help design the target architecture, produce HLDs and detailed designs, establish cloud and identity patterns, and support the Principal Architect with landing-zone and IaC standards.
We’re looking for someone with:
• Strong Infrastructure, Solution or Enterprise Architecture experience
• Proven Identity and Access Management / Identity Governance architecture experience
• Strong Microsoft Entra knowledge
• Azure and AWS architecture experience
• Experience designing cloud landing zones
• Infrastructure as Code experience — Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation or similar
• Understanding of identity lifecycle management, access governance and enterprise authentication/authorisation
• Experience producing HLDs and detailed designs
• Architecture governance / ARB experience
• Strong security and platform architecture awareness
The combination matters here. We’re not looking for a generic cloud architect, nor someone whose experience is purely IAM. The right person will be comfortable operating across identity, cloud platform and infrastructure architecture.
$140–$150/hr.
