About the Opportunity 
Tribe has the pleasure of partnering with Tend Health, a kiwi owned business that is helping kiwis to be the healthiest people in the world. We’re searching for a Sr P&C Business Partner that has the appetite and skill set to make an impact by guiding Tend through its high-growth phase, having scaled rapidly through recent acquisitions. The role will be based on-site but does offer flexible start and finish times. Occasional (quarterly) travel across New Zealand will be required.
  • Strengthen core people processes and help build a high-performance culture across a fast-moving, “build as you go” environment.
  • Work in a medium-volume ER environment with plenty of change and pace.
  • Partner closely with the CPO and senior stakeholders to lift capability, embed fit-for-purpose frameworks, and support the business as it continues to grow and evolve.
  • Implement various OD initiatives and work across both strategy as well as operations.
 What You’ll Bring
This role will suit someone who enjoys and can operate in an established business that still has a “start up feel”. Ideally, you’ll have prior experience both within larger, corporate environments as well as smaller, fast paced businesses.
  • Around 8+ years of solid, senior level People Partner/HRBP experience
  • Strong ER capability and confidence managing standard ER cases end-to-end
  • Experience in a start-up style environment with a pragmatic approach.
  • Resilience, high ownership and the ability to multitask without dropping the ball.
  • A “completer-finisher” mindset with strong expectation management and commercial judgement.
  • Ability to lead the people workstream across due diligence and post-merger execution.
