You’ll set the technical direction and roadmap for multiple digital platforms and services (web/mobile/streaming), ensuring they remain stable, scalable and commercially aligned as customer expectations and priorities evolve. The mandate includes overseeing the design, delivery, and operation of a complex platform ecosystem spanning customer experience layers and enabling capabilities (commerce/subscription, identity, analytics, marketing integrations, and customer data). Ability to see the big picture across multiple systems/domains and set a clear 24–36 month technical direction, balancing future-state vision with pragmatic delivery. Track record of lifting engineering maturity: standards, reliability, delivery discipline, and addressing technical debt in legacy codebases. Commercially astute and technically credible - comfortable influencing across matrixed environments, challenging constructively, and driving continuous change. Bonus: experience with complex platform estates and ecosystems (e.g., CRM/commerce/subscription, identity, customer data) and navigating significant transitions such as mobile platform rebuilds.
