Kaiwhakahaere Hauora Māori, Mana Taurite
ApplyAbout the Opportunity
ProCare exists to uplift the health and wellbeing of communities across Tāmaki Makaurau and Te Tai Tokerau.
With a deep commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, the organisation works alongside iwi, providers and communities to enable more equitable outcomes, particularly for Māori, Pacific and other ethnic communities.
This is an environment where purpose and performance sit side by side, where this role has the reach and the mandate to help make change that genuinely matters.
What You'll Bring
This role sits at the heart of that kaupapa. As Kaiwhakahaere Hauora Māori, Mana Taurite, you will lead meaningful partnerships, shape strategy at an executive level, and ensure that equity is not just an intention, but something felt in practice.
You will bring people together across the system, help unlock new opportunities, and support the delivery of services that reach those who need them most.
Reporting to the Group CEO, you will have a natural ability to build trust and connection, with credibility across iwi, community and sector networks. You’ll be comfortable operating at both strategic and practical levels, with the confidence to influence and the humility to listen.
Grounded in Te Ao Māori, you will bring clarity, warmth and purpose to your leadership, and a genuine commitment to making a difference.
With a demonstrable track record of success from within the health and/or social sectors, you will bring an existing network of contacts and viable partners, and a desire to showcase ProCare’s size and capabilities in increasing access and delivering positive health outcomes to the highest needs populations in NZ.
What's on Offer
Based in modern Parnell offices, with the ability to partly work remotely, this role is a fulltime permanent position, however 0.8 FTE may be considered where preferable.
