Mercury is New Zealand's second largest energy company. We generate all our electricity from 100% renewable sources. Hydro from the Waikato River. Geothermal from the Central North Island and wind from the Roaring Forties. We're excited about our future and how we play a key role in helping New Zealand de-carbonize towards a net carbon zero 2050. I've been part of the Mercury family now for over 20 years and I love the renewable energy sector and what we do here at Mercury every day.

The Head of Business Performance and Investor Relations role is really a hybrid. Part of it's about really good business partnering. How do we work with the business to actually understand how they're creating value, analyse their risks, discover the opportunities. It's a really collaborative role, you'll be working with the lead teams and other stakeholders across the business.

The other part is in the investor relations space. That's really about how we communicate to our shareholders externally and some of our key stakeholders. How do we tell the story about Mercury? How we're succeeding and how we're going to make a difference to them.
