Tower appoints new Head of Claims and Transformation 

Daniel brings over 13 years of leadership experience in life and health insurance, most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Partners Life, where he is responsible for overseeing operations, claims transformation, and customer outcomes across a rapidly growing business.

Having started his career in claims before moving into senior leadership, Daniel has successfully led large, diverse teams, spearheaded innovation and continuous improvement initiatives, and overseen major projects including the implementation of multi-million-dollar claims management systems. His strong commercial acumen, combined with his people-first leadership style, positions him well to drive Tower’s claims strategy and deliver outstanding outcomes for customers.

Outside of work, Daniel enjoys tackling hands-on projects around his property and jokingly calls himself a "pretend farmer." He’s a passionate sports fan and proudly supports Everton. He’s also recently taken up golf, “the most frustrating sport ever”, and has a love for travel and experiencing new cultures, having done a couple of OEs in his younger years. Originally from Australia (though he asks us not to hold it against him), Daniel has called New Zealand home for most of his life.
