It has to be the team - we've made some incredible new hires over the course of the year. Definitely coming home and on top of that also joining Jenny and James back at Tribe.
My personal highlight for 2019 is my baby girl Tilly turning one. Seeing a school of whales in Auckland Harbour, which is the first time I've ever seen a whale alive. Completing the half marathon in Omaha and getting a PB, here is my medal.
My personal highlight for 2019 is getting some beehives. My family growing from three to four people with the arrival of Freddie in October. Joining Emma, one of the Chiefs who I worked with in the UK about 13 years ago. Reaching the highest number of temps we've ever had placed with our clients.
I managed a huge CRM data migration, and it was really successful. I went on a family holiday to Fiji and accidentally ended up snorkelling with baby sharks. We've made two excellent hires in the team which has allowed us to square out our senior offering. Hitting 9,000 followers on LinkedIn - we're almost at 10,000.
I implemented an automation platform and in under three months we already have nearly a hundred automations across the business. My personal highlight for 2019 is becoming an F45 coach. Working with a candidate who's been in New Zealand for 10 years, I placed him in a role so him and his young family can stay here in New Zealand and become residents.
Launching our guiding light and our Tribe way, which is all about the way we do things around here. My best friend from South Africa came to visit me for a month. I had the privilege of working with a Kiwi startup with their first hire.
Discovering our tikanga: be yourself, be there for others, be brave, be first. Bringing on some new tech clients for the organisation. Surfing Barra de la Cruz in Mexico. Going back to the US, Portland, Oregon - my partner is from there originally.
Travelling home to Sydney a few times this year to see so many beautiful friends get married. Becoming a New Zealand citizen after 28 years. Last weekend I managed not to fracture my eye socket—just bruised badly. Travelling around Vietnam for just under a month and eating the most fantastic food. Celebrating 10 years in recruitment and joining Tribe.
