About the Opportunity 
We're working with an exciting retail start-up looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to establish their warehouse operation ahead of launch.
This is a rare opportunity to build systems and processes from the ground up and make a lasting impact on the business.
  • Designing and setting up the new warehouse to support both retail and e-commerce operations.
  • Implementing warehouse processes, inventory controls and storage layouts to ensure an efficient operation.
  • Developing SOPs and documentation covering receiving, replenishment, fulfilment and stock management.
  • Recruiting, onboarding and setting up a warehouse team for a seven-day operation.
  • Establishing freight, courier and supplier relationships while ensuring the warehouse is ready for launch.
What You’ll Bring 
  • Experience setting up warehouses, distribution centres or greenfield operations from scratch.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse systems, inventory management and operational workflows.
  • An understanding of how WMS and ERP systems integrate within a retail environment.
  • Experience across retail, e-commerce or omnichannel fulfilment operations.
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategic planning and day-to-day execution.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with experience building and leading warehouse teams.

About the Opportunity A global leader in providing sustainable, natural, value-added food and beverage ingredients and solutions to customers worldwide. The purpose of this role is to develop a supply plan for activities to meet and exceed customer expectations on quality and DIFOT. Key accountabilities include:Develop and maintain accurate supply plans based on production forecasts, customer demand and seasonal variances.Use SAP and MRP systems to create and manage production schedules, ensuring the availability of raw materials and packaging.Collaborate with production and procurement teams to align supply plans with business objectives.Monitor and control inventory levels of raw materials, work in progress (WIP) and finished goods to prevent shortages or overstock situations.Conduct regular inventory reconciliations using SAP to ensure data accuracy.Implement inventory optimisation strategies, including safety stock levels and reorder points.Review and adjust MRP outputs to address supply chain disruptions or demand changes.Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any supplier issues.A full position description is available. What You’ll Bring You will no doubt have a good few years’ experience working SAP and data analysis and an in-depth knowledge of the FMCG industry would be an advantage.
