About the Opportunity
We're looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join a high-performing Security Operations team responsible for protecting a complex enterprise environment across cloud, corporate IT and operational technology.
Working within a mature SOC, you'll investigate and respond to security incidents, manage vulnerabilities, improve security controls and partner with technology teams to strengthen the organisation's cyber security posture.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and respond to cyber security incidents.
- Monitor, configure and optimise security platforms.
- Identify and remediate vulnerabilities and security risks.
- Support security governance, risk assessments and change management.
- Collaborate with internal teams and security partners to implement security best practices.
- Evaluate new security technologies and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Develop security automation, documentation and operational procedures.
- Produce reports and recommendations to improve security resilience.
You'll Bring
You'll have experience in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) or cyber security engineering environment and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with SIEM, firewalls, endpoint, web and email security.
- Knowledge of cloud security, ideally AWS.
- Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell or Go.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach to incident response and continuous improvement.
Desirable
- Experience with Check Point, Akamai or Rapid7.
- Operational Technology (OT) or Industrial Control Systems (ICS) security.
- Security automation and vulnerability management experience.
