About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a Lead Cyber Security Engineer to take ownership of the organisation’s security engineering and operational capability.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role covering security platforms, detection and monitoring, endpoint and identity security, vulnerability management and incident response. You’ll work closely with senior technology stakeholders to strengthen security controls across a modern hybrid environment.
For the right person, there is also a genuine opportunity to develop further into security architecture, strategy and governance.

We’re looking for a Lead Cyber Security Engineer to take ownership of the organisation’s security engineering and operational capability.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role covering security platforms, detection and monitoring, endpoint and identity security, vulnerability management and incident response. You’ll work closely with senior technology stakeholders to strengthen security controls across a modern hybrid environment.

What You’ll Bring
- You’ll be an experienced Security Engineer / Senior Security Engineer / Lead Security Engineer with strong hands-on technical capability and the confidence to take ownership.
- Strong Microsoft security experience across Azure, Entra ID, Defender and Sentinel.
- Hands-on experience with EDR/XDR platforms such as Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike or SentinelOne.
- Strong understanding of identity, endpoint, cloud and network security.
- Experience with detection engineering, incident response and security investigations.
- Experience managing vulnerabilities and delivering technical remediation.
- Practical experience with Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management and Zero Trust.
- The ability to translate security risks and requirements into practical technical controls.
- Scripting/automation experience with PowerShell, Python or KQL would be advantageous.
