About the Opportunity
- Newly created Graphic Designer role based in Queenstown, reporting to the Content Manager within Skyline's Marketing team.
- Take design projects from brief through to finished output, working across print, digital, signage, campaigns, presentations, operational collateral and digital screens.
- Work directly with stakeholders to understand and clarify requirements, challenge briefs where appropriate, and recommend the right design solution.
- Develop reusable, brand-approved templates and practical design systems that allow teams to manage routine updates while maintaining brand consistency.
- Contribute video-editing capability across internal communications, digital screens, promotional activity and social content using supplied footage.
- 4–7 years’ professional design experience, supported by a strong portfolio across both print and digital work.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, alongside experience with Figma and practical video editing skills using Premiere Pro or equivalent.
- Experience taking design work from brief through stakeholder feedback, refinement, final artwork and production-ready delivery.
- A strong eye for brand consistency and the judgement to work creatively within established brand systems.
- Confidence managing multiple briefs and priorities in a fast-paced environment, with the adaptability to respond when urgent work changes priorities.
- A curious, solutions-focused approach — someone who will question the brief, understand the underlying need and recommend the right design solution rather than simply producing an output.
- Opportunity to help shape its internal design processes, templates and creative systems.
- Exposure to a varied range of projects across Skyline’s Queenstown and Rotorua operations, wider business teams and selected international requirements.
- Queenstown-based role with an onsite focus, while retaining flexibility around individual working arrangements.
