About the Opportunity
Our client is a globally recognised fintech organisation, transforming the way businesses navigate and manage payments. With a strong presence across international markets, they deliver innovative, end-to-end commerce solutions that support a diverse customer base across multiple industries.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll take ownership of a sales team, working closely with the Head of Sales to lift performance, build capability and drive sales growth. You’ll be leading salespeople and recently developed team leaders, so this isn’t about sitting behind a desk and watching the numbers — it’s about being visible, coaching well, setting the standard and creating a team that wants to win.
What you’ll be doing:
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of 22 sales professionals, including 19 reps and 3 field reps
  • Work closely with two Team Leaders to create consistency, accountability and high performance across the team
  • Drive sales volume and ensure the team is consistently hitting its targets
  • Introduce regular 1:1s, call coaching and structured development, and have the confidence to tackle the harder conversations when needed
  • Partner with the Head of Sales on strategy and help turn ideas into action
  • Use sales data and performance insights to identify opportunities and keep the team moving forward

About You
You’re an established sales leader who enjoys being close to the action. You know how to coach, challenge and motivate people.
You’ll bring:
  • Proven leadership experience within a high-volume sales or call centre environment
  • Experience leading a large team, ideally of salespeople
  • A strong track record of driving sales performance and volume
  • A hands-on, lead-from-the-front approach
  • A competitive mindset, balanced with strong people skills and emotional intelligence
  • Energy, initiative and a genuine desire to keep learning and improving
Experience in a contact centre or other high-volume sales environment would be highly regarded. Experience with NetSuite or similar CRM systems is also useful, but we’re more interested in your leadership capability and what you can bring to the team.

Why Join?
This is an opportunity to step into a role where you can genuinely make your mark.
The product is continuing to evolve and improve, creating a strong platform for further sales growth. You’ll have the opportunity to influence how the sales team operates, introduce better coaching and performance practices, and work closely with the Head of Sales on the wider direction of the function.
You’ll also be joining a business that is growing and evolving, with plenty of scope for someone who is hungry to make an impact.
What’s on offer:
  • The chance to lead a sizeable, established sales team and influence its next stage of growth
  • Join a global powerhouse and be part of exciting growth as market-leading products hit New Zealand
  • Work from a convenient North Shore office with parking
  • Ongoing professional development opportunities, from leadership pathways to advanced account management roles
