  • Handle customer retention conversations, including contract cancellations, ownership changes and early terminations.
  • Identify relevant opportunities to add value through additional products or features.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years’ experience across Customer Success, Account Management, Customer Service, Retention, Technical Support or Sales.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a genuine focus on delivering excellent customer experiences.
  • Confident communication skills across phone, email and other customer channels.
  • Commercial awareness, with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail, CRM confidence and the judgement to work independently while asking for support when needed.

About the Opportunity  Our client is a globally recognised fintech organisation, transforming the way businesses navigate and manage payments. With a strong presence across international markets, they deliver innovative, end-to-end commerce solutions that support a diverse customer base across multiple industries. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll take ownership of a sales team, working closely with the Head of Sales to lift performance, build capability and drive sales growth. You’ll be leading salespeople and recently developed team leaders, so this isn’t about sitting behind a desk and watching the numbers — it’s about being visible, coaching well, setting the standard and creating a team that wants to win. What you’ll be doing:Lead, coach and develop a team of 22 sales professionals, including 19 reps and 3 field repsWork closely with two Team Leaders to create consistency, accountability and high performance across the teamDrive sales volume and ensure the team is consistently hitting its targetsIntroduce regular 1:1s, call coaching and structured development, and have the confidence to tackle the harder conversations when neededPartner with the Head of Sales on strategy and help turn ideas into actionUse sales data and performance insights to identify opportunities and keep the team moving forward About You You’re an established sales leader who enjoys being close to the action.
