Head of PMO and Change Management

Apply
About the Opportunity
Shape the future of enterprise delivery for one of New Zealand's leading health insurers.

A key leadership role in a growing PMO team. Our client has invested heavily in its future. A new CEO, a refreshed strategy and significant investment in technology have created an opportunity for an experienced PMO leader to help shape how an entire organisation delivers change.

This isn't about maintaining the status quo.

It's about building the capability that allows an organisation to deliver confidently for years to come.

What You’ll Bring
Reporting to the Chief Corporate Services Officer and working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, you'll become the person who provides visibility across strategic initiatives, challenges priorities when needed, and ensures technology, people and business change move together.

You'll inherit an established PMO and lead its next stage of maturity. Strengthening governance, portfolio planning, resource management and enterprise change capability while continuing to develop a capable delivery team.

The programme ahead is substantial.

Over the next 12 months you'll help guide the delivery of major technology initiatives including platform consolidation, API development, CRM transformation, a modern data platform and significant product simplification that will improve both member experience and operational effectiveness.

We're looking for someone who has successfully led enterprise PMOs before.

Someone comfortable operating at and supporting the wider Executive while remaining hands on enough to jump into delivery when required.

You'll bring credibility, commercial judgement and the confidence to ask difficult questions before projects become problems.

You'll probably have experience leading complex technology programmes, building governance that enables rather than slows delivery, and helping organisations become better at managing change, not simply projects.

Experience within insurance, financial services or another regulated environment would be advantageous, although candidates from other complex technology environments are encouraged to apply.

Why This Opportunity?
Our client is large enough to undertake meaningful transformation, yet small enough that good ideas don't disappear into layers of bureaucracy.

The Executive Leadership Team is genuinely invested in building organisational capability, and this role will have a visible seat at the table as the business continues its transformation journey.

If you're looking for an opportunity where your influence will extend well beyond project reporting, we'd welcome a confidential conversation.

Senior Director of Product Architecture and Engineering

About the Opportunity We’re partnering with a well-known global consumer brand to appoint a Senior Director, Engineering & Architecture in Auckland. This is a genuinely hands-on leadership role for someone who has built and operated real products in production, at scale. You’ll sit at the centre of a large digital portfolio spanning subscription experiences, multi-platform consumer apps (mobile, web, TV), B2B/partner platforms, content-led systems, and the engineering enablement layer that keeps everything moving (DevOps, quality, delivery practices). The business is in an active phase of platform modernisation and legacy migration, lifting engineering practices, and adopting AI-enabled engineering in a practical way. They need a leader who genuinely enjoys staying close to the tools, but who gets just as much satisfaction from growing great people and shaping a healthy, high-performing culture. You’ll be trusted to make clear calls, keep engineering aligned to real business outcomes, and lead from the front. This isn’t a consulting or advisory role. It’s an operator role.
