About the Opportunity
Join a respected financial services business and play a key role in lifting compliance capability across the organisation. This is a hands-on role partnering closely with senior leaders, with plenty of variety and real impact.
As the Risk and Compliance Specialist, you will be part of a supportive, commercially minded team and help strengthen a strong culture of compliance across the business.


This is a broad, hands-on role with real impact where you will work closely with leaders and partner across multiple functions to ensure regulatory obligations are met and best-practice frameworks remain fit for purpose.

You’ll support the ongoing compliance and governance framework, with exposure across:
•    Help maintain and embed the AML/CFT risk assessment and compliance programme, supporting audit readiness and reporting requirements
•    Assist with regulatory change implementation and ongoing compliance checks
•    Supporting licensing conditions, frameworks, registers, policies and training
•    Act as the Privacy Officer, supporting training, breaches and policy updates
•    Ensure documentation remains current, effective and implemented across the business
•    Prepare internal/external compliance reporting, supporting audits, and investigating incidents/breaches with corrective actions
•    Provide backup support across complaints handling and health & safety queries as required
•    Manage compliance initiatives 

What You’ll Bring
•    Proven experience in risk and/or compliance, ideally within a licensed financial services environment
•    Knowledge of AML/CFT and consumer credit / financial services regulation
•    Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills 
•    High attention to detail, strong organisation, and a practical problem-solving approach
•    Confidence building training, awareness and lifting compliance capability across a business
