About the Opportunity
  • NBC Universal is a world-leading media and entertainment company in the development, production and marketing of entertainment, news and information to a global audience.

  • This role will lead organic social media efforts, including strategy, implementation, tracking, and review, as well as drive the events and activations functions, lead PR and influencer strategy on select films, and execute partnerships. 
Day-to-day responsibilities include;
  • Contribute to strategy, planning + execution of marketing campaigns across NZ
  • Develop and implement the local publicity, partnerships, and social strategies for select films
  • Contribute to the ideation, concept development, and delivery of all events & activations for select films
  • Work with agencies to develop and identify new initiatives to grow and evolve presence in the market
  • Seek out new opportunities to learn and develop innovations for publicity, partnerships, and social, and share relevant findings with the wider NZ Marketing team

What You’ll Bring
  • You will be a natural relationship builder with a passion for all things film!
  • You will thrive in an environment where you can be creative + push the boundaries while working to tight deadlines.
  • Strong publicity experience within entertainment, media or a related industry
  • Strong social experience including strategy, content creation, measurement and optimisation
  • Ideally, some experience in brand partnerships or consumer licensing
  • A comprehensive understanding and experience with the New Zealand entertainment and media landscape
