About the Opportunity Pie Funds is a New Zealand–owned fund manager with a growing brand presence in market. They have a strong focus on helping everyday investors make confident, long-term financial decisions.Join at an exciting point of growth, where digital is a key lever for momentum, and this newly created role offers the chance to build an in-house performance engine from the ground up.Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you’ll take ownership of Pie Funds’ paid advertising and search presence, driving measurable growth through best-practice execution and continuous optimisation.Lead and optimise paid campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn (and other relevant channels), ensuring targeting, creative inputs, landing page alignment and budget allocation are set up for strong ROI.Develop and execute a modern SEO and Generative-Engine Optimisation (GEO) strategy ensuring Pie Funds is highly discoverable across traditional search and emerging AI-driven search behaviours.Use a disciplined test-and-learn approach: build hypotheses, run A/B tests, interpret results, and scale what works.Own performance measurement end-to-end, using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console (and other tracking tools as required) to translate data into action.Produce clear weekly and monthly performance reporting, turning insights into prioritised recommendations that lift results across channels.Partner closely with a collaborative marketing team (creative/content support sits around the role) - you’ll bring the performance lens, optimisation cadence, and channel expertise. What You’ll BringSeveral years’ experience in digital marketing, with hands-on capability setting up and managing targeted campaigns across Google, Meta and LinkedIn (and ideally YouTube/TikTok).Strong command of paid optimisation: confident managing multiple campaigns across platforms, tweaking, testing and improving performance to deliver the best results within budget.Proven expertise in SEO, alongside a genuine curiosity and up-to-date knowledge of AI search/GEO trends and algorithm changes.A strategic mindset, able to set the direction for online growth paired with the ability to execute with pace and precision.Strong analytical skills and commercial judgement: you can translate results into clear insights and practical recommendations for stakeholders.Comfort working in a fast-moving environment: you’re adaptable, decisive, and happy to iterate quickly as priorities shift.Familiarity with tools such as SEMrush, Hotjar, Google Analytics, Otterly, Zapier (Salesforce experience is beneficial, not essential).
