Accounts Payable Team Lead
About the Opportunity You’ll lead a small Accounts Payable team of 3 and be responsible for ensuring supplier invoices, credit notes, reconciliations and payment runs are completed accurately and on time. You’ll also play an important role in improving manual processes and supporting future AP automation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead, support and coordinate the day-to-day workload of the AP team Oversee supplier invoice and credit note processing Manage stock invoice matching against purchase orders and receipts Monitor and clear GRNI and unmatched invoice items Review supplier reconciliations and resolve outstanding queries Manage AP ageing and escalate overdue or unresolved items Review and approve payment runs in line with internal controls Support supplier set-ups, vendor changes and payment controls Liaise with branches, suppliers and internal stakeholders Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and reduce manual work Support month-end deadlines and ensure invoices are processed on time What You’ll Bring Strong end-to-end Accounts Payable experience, ideally in a senior or team lead role.
